Arirang TV's real-time K-pop request show "After School Club" is recruiting new English writers.

Major responsibilities:

- Translating weekly MC scripts and subtitles for edited videos

- Promoting program through social networks

- Recruiting and managing fans who appear on the show

- Managing social networks in real time during the live show

- Script run-throughs with MCs before the show

Preferred qualifications:

- Fluent in both colloquial English and Korean, and able to translate quickly and accurately. (Essential)

- Comfortable using various social networks including Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and Naver LINE.

- Well-grounded in K-pop culture and jargon used by overseas K-pop fans.

- Familiar with Korean-style variety shows and Korean slang.

We are looking for enthusiastic applicants who have a quirky sense of humor and are interested in working in a fast-paced, live broadcast TV environment. The position does not require a full-time commitment; however, writers must be reachable seven days a week. Writers must generally be in the office (Arirang Tower, Seocho-gu, Seoul) two or three days a week.
